Regal in red!
This is the beginning of a new series for Craft Cubed 2013. Taking place as a window exhibition at Small Space during August.
Thought it was time for you to follow the process of making, so l have taken the time to snap some shots along the way.
It started with this little lens found in Dad's garage. No idea what its from or where it once belonged but its about to be re incarnated.
Drawing down several meters of silver wire. Hard work.
The wire starts to take the shape of some wild filligree. A very old technique, usually used in a much more symmetrical manner.
Things are starting to take shape.
