This beautiful beach glass hales across the seas from Seaham in County Durham, England. It is world famous for its abundance of unusual sea glass due to a factory that opened in the 1850's which was one of the first to mass produce glass bottles. It closed with the 1921 coal strike.
I love sea glass, there is something about the raw tumbled look that makes you wonder what it once was, so to give it a new life as a little piece of history for your finger has been my pleasure. Paired with a green princess cut Tsavorite garnet for a bit of sparkle. Hand made in sterling silver by Robyn Wernicke.
Top configuration measures approx 13mm x 14mm. Size N. Cannot be resized but contact me if you are interested as l have other loose pieces of glass and we can make to order.
Each piece is individually stamped with Robyn Wernicke's "makers mark" as a homage to the originality and authenticity of the piece. Free yearly ultrasonic clean and appraisal in store.
