This is part of a series of work made using meteorite. This neckpiece has a very rare natural piece of iron based meteorite found at "Campo Del Cielo" situated in Argentina. Estimated to have hit earth between 4200 and 4700 years ago. The area has approximately 26 craters with the largest one being over 91 meters wide.
This spectacular piece has been set in 9ct gold and blackened silver. The architectural blocks contain the meteorite and the subtle gold, black and silver blend beautifully together.
This is a one-off piece and measures approx 24mm long x 15mm wide x 11mm deep. Hanging on a silver belcher chain 45cm in length.
